Operations Head – Automobile Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Head to lead the day‑to‑day business activities of a leading automobile company in Kathmandu. The role demands a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence across sales, service, spare‑parts and inventory functions while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations across all departments, branches and dealer networks.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company’s growth objectives.
• Monitor performance metrics for sales, service, spare parts, inventory and overall operational efficiency.
• Coordinate smoothly between internal teams, external dealers and senior management.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Establish, track and report on KPIs, targets and performance standards.
• Lead, mentor and manage cross‑functional teams to achieve results.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and industry regulations.
• Analyze operational reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in the automobile industry, preferably in senior operations or management roles.
• Proven track record in managing sales, service, dealer operations and business processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on execution and problem solving.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of automobile sales, service and dealer operations.
• Experience with performance measurement, KPI development and operational reporting.
