Purchase Head – Manufacturing (Food & Feed)

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic Purchase Head to lead procurement activities for its food and feed manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for building a reliable supplier base, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing, and aligning purchases with production and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard cost‑effective suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favorable pricing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to verify compliance with specifications before approving purchase orders.
• Synchronize procurement plans with inventory levels and production schedules to prevent stock imbalances.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the office environment.
• Conduct regular market analysis, benchmark prices, and uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors, banks, and customs agents to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Purchase Head or equivalent procurement role within a relevant industry.
