Purchase Head – Manufacturing (Lipani, Birgunj)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Purchase Head to lead the procurement function for our manufacturing operations in Lipani, Birgunj. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management and ensuring that all purchases meet quality and production requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard reliable, cost‑effective suppliers while negotiating favorable terms and ensuring strategic sourcing and quality assurance.
• Validate purchase orders against quality specifications in collaboration with the Quality team.
• Synchronize procurement activities with inventory levels and production schedules to prevent under‑stocking or over‑stocking.
• Enforce housekeeping standards across the office environment.
• Conduct regular market analysis, benchmark vendor prices, and uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors, banks and customs agents to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries and compliance with customs and logistics requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchase Head or in a comparable procurement role within a relevant industry.
