About the role
Adex International is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and automation of its data‑center and global network infrastructure. You will work on cutting‑edge hardware and software to ensure high‑performance, secure connectivity for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deploy data‑center networks using Arista, Juniper, Cisco, and Brocade Vyatta platforms.
- Configure ISP transit links, multi‑home BGP peering, and IPSEC/IKE VPN tunnels for worldwide connectivity.
- Implement routing policies (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, VRF, GRE) to optimize latency and traffic flow.
- Set up load balancers with Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) with security‑focused rule sets.
- Perform zero‑downtime upgrades of routers, switches, and firewalls in production.
- Conduct capacity planning, troubleshoot L2‑L7 issues, and analyze packets with Wireshark or tcpdump.
- Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash) and IaC templates (Ansible, Terraform) for streamlined deployments.
- Create monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios.
Required profile
- 7+ years of hands‑on data‑center networking experience, preferably in SaaS/cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or Arista ACE.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required skills
- Arista, Juniper, Cisco, Brocade Vyatta hardware.
- BGP (eBGP/iBGP), OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, VRF, GRE, static routing.
- VLAN, VXLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, LLDP, 802.1Q.
- IPSEC/IKE VPN, SSL/TLS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT/PAT.
- Load balancers with GSLB, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
- Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform.
- Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Wireshark, tcpdump.
