Staff Nurse – Family Planning Services

About the role

The Staff Nurse will join Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) to deliver quality family planning and sexual reproductive health services at three centres in Chandrauta, Gongabu and Pokhara. The role involves direct client care, assisting physicians in procedures, and supporting centre administration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide family planning counseling, pre‑ and post‑operative care, and follow‑up services.
• Assist doctors during major procedures and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Oversee daily centre administration, record keeping, and inventory management.
• Participate in community outreach and health education activities as needed.

Required profile

• PCL Nursing degree and registration with the Nepal Nursing Council.
• Experience or training in IUCD, Implant, CAC and Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical protocols related to reproductive health.
