Hub Incharge – Operations Manager

About the role

The Hub In‑charge will manage daily operations at the Gaighat hub, ensuring smooth inventory flow, warehouse efficiency and reliable logistics coordination. You will act as the bridge between delivery agents, merchants and the central team to meet service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day hub activities, maintaining workflow and adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate with central and regional teams to optimise operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Prepare regular performance reports covering on‑time delivery, efficiency and other KPIs.
• Recruit, train and onboard delivery personnel, handling driver concerns and disciplinary matters.
• Reconcile cash and returned products, update delivery sheets and submit funds to accounts.
• Create orders in Hermes and 3PL, print stickers and assign pick‑up agents.
• Receive incoming packages, verify information and hand over products to transportation partners.
• Conduct market research, approach potential merchants and negotiate partnership contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management (pursuing or completed).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, inventory or hub management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with inventory management and cash‑handling processes.
• Experience using Hermes and third‑party logistics (3PL) platforms.
