Sales Officer (FMCG)

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive sales growth for fast‑moving consumer goods within an assigned territory. You will build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts to ensure product availability and visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets and key accounts.
• Visit markets regularly to ensure product availability, visibility and proper merchandising.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Manage distributor and retailer networks to maximize sales and market coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in a field‑sales role.
• Experience handling distributors, wholesalers, retailers and modern trade is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and FMCG distribution channels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Must have personal vehicle and a valid driving licence.
