Exploration Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead mineral exploration programmes across multiple licences in Nepal. The role combines strategic planning, field supervision and team leadership to drive successful discovery and evaluation of mineral targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute exploration strategies and annual work programmes.
• Plan and supervise geological mapping, geochemical and geophysical surveys, trenching and drilling activities.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary exploration teams on several projects.
• Review geological data, maps, sampling results and technical reports.
• Identify, prioritize and recommend follow‑up exploration targets.
• Manage budgets, timelines and project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, licence, HSE, ESG and QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate with government authorities, local communities and other stakeholders.
• Prepare technical and management reports and support due‑diligence evaluations.

Required profile

• M.Sc. in Geology or Applied Geology.
• 10–15 years of mineral exploration experience, preferably managing multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of exploration techniques and geological interpretation.
• Hands‑on GIS experience is desirable.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to work in remote and challenging field environments.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
