Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and result‑oriented Human Resources Manager for a reputable steel manufacturing company in Kathmandu. The role involves leading HR functions, ensuring compliance with Nepal’s labor laws, and supporting the organization’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
• Handle payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Nepal’s labor laws and applicable regulations.
• Manage workforce planning, employee engagement, training, and development.
• Coordinate with management to support organizational goals and factory workforce requirements.
• Travel frequently to company sites or factories to address HR and workforce‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the steel, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Nepal’s labor laws, HR policies, and employee relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and team management skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently as required.
