Investment Analyst – Private Equity (Technology)

About the role

NIBL Equity Partners is seeking a commercially‑minded Investment Analyst to support its Private Equity team in sourcing, evaluating, and managing technology‑focused investments. The role spans the full investment lifecycle, from origination to portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential technology sector investments, including software, fintech, digital platforms and related businesses.
• Develop and review financial models, valuation analyses, LBO models and investment return calculations.
• Conduct market and technology analysis to evaluate business models, competitive positioning and growth potential.
• Support due‑diligence processes across financial, commercial, operational and technology dimensions.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations and other materials for Investment Committee discussions.
• Assist in transaction structuring, negotiations and coordination of workstreams through deal closure.
• Monitor portfolio company performance, track KPIs and identify value‑creation opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity or related finance roles.
• Strong understanding of technology business models and market dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior team members.

Required skills

• Financial modeling and valuation analysis.
• LBO modeling.
• Proficiency in analyzing technology sector trends.
