Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical Engineering

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the electrical maintenance team at a manufacturing plant in Birtamod. The role ensures reliable operation of all electrical equipment, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous production through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, panel boards, relays, solenoid valves, motors and related components.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot single‑phase and three‑phase electrical wiring, panels and power distribution systems.
• Oversee the care and monitoring of dairy machinery to achieve zero production downtime.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment and automation systems.
• Supervise technicians, gradually delegating routine electrical tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring issues and propose long‑term solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, food‑grade standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to meet operational goals and support equipment upgrades.
• Keep the workshop, tools and equipment organized and conduct regular safety inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and industrial automation.
• Technical certifications or specialized training in maintenance/automation are preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and lead a team.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
