Product Development Officer

About the role

Vista Nepal is looking for a creative and innovative Product Development Officer to join its growing team in Kathmandu. The role focuses on researching market trends, developing new products, improving existing lines, and coordinating cross‑functional efforts to ensure successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and new product opportunities.
• Develop concepts for new products and enhance existing products based on feedback and market demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and quality‑assurance teams throughout the development process.
• Prepare product specifications, documentation, and development reports.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on product positioning and launch strategies.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Creative, innovative and motivated individual with a passion for product strategy.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in product development or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
